Yes, students can change their college in between & St. Xavier's College will issue the NOC (No Objection Certificate) whenever the students ask for the same. Students must keep all the important documents ready with them for the change of the college.

Any student who has successfully completed the HSC or its equivalent test is eligible to apply for UG/PG course admissions. Students appearing for other Boards, like CBSC, ICSC, IB, etc., or from any foreign boards, are required to get a Provisional Eligibility Certificate (PEC) from Gujarat University before securing admission to St. Xavier's College.

If students want to cancel their St. Xavier's College, Ahmedabad admission and want to get fee refund, there are guidelines they must follow. Below are the updates regarding the fee refund policy:
- Refunds for admission cancellation in self-financed programmes is as follows:
a) Up to July 31, 2026: INR 1,000
b) From August 1, 2026, to Sep 30, 2026: INR 5,000
Students who cancel their admission from October 1, 2026, will not be eligible for any refund under any circumstances.
