There is no such strict age criteria for pursuing courses in Structural Engineering at popular academic institutes in India. However, looking at the past admission trends in Structural Engineering courses, students are usually between 18 years and 24 years of age at the time of taking admission to integrated BTech-MTech Structural Engineering course. For M.E/MTech degree in Structural Engineering, students are between 24 years and 27 years in general.

Admission for ME in PSG College of Technology is through counselling based on the rank/ score obtained in Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test (TANCET).
First preference will be given to candidate with valid GATE score.
