B.Des is offered at the Symbiosis institute of design for that one can need to attend the entrance exam at college that is Symbiosis entrance test and who secured 50 % at class 10th and 12th can attend this test for the graduation at Symbiosis B.Des

The multicultural environment at Symbiosis institute of Design with students from PAN India and around the world, celebrations are key to unity in diversity. Throughout the year many events take place at SIT, be it a celebration of cultural festivals like Lohri, Navratri, Shiv-Jayanti, Shiv-Swarajya Din, etc. These are the various cultural events are happen at SIT.

In most cases there is chance of reattempting the exam, but in case if not need at attempt at next time when they conduct the exam. If miss the 1st internal then there would be 2nd internal exam that would help pass the internals. This will help to the students who miss the internals at any reason may be due to health problems as well

Majority of cases students do not fail in internal examinations and if in case any one fail there is another chance writing exam and other procedures of writing, reattempting in that case also fail need to write internals at next time at the Symbiosis institute of design

Youthville girls hostel and pg, Ms living pg, procida hostel in addition to theese, there are a lot of hostels available around the college, there will be no problem related with PG even there are hostels with co living also available. Based on the budget we can select these hostels and with the facilities they offered. And there is chance to rent a house if we have better known friends at the college premises 

The Symbiosis Institute of Design (SID) doesn't offer any short term / distance course. Currently, the institute offers only full time UG degree courses. Admission to the 4-year B.Des courses offered by the institute will be based on the cumulative performance of the candidate in the SEED 2026 written exam, PRPI and Portfolio Review. 

SID presently offers only UG courses in design. So, candidates can't appear in the SEED 2026 exam for admission to any PG courses. The SEED written exam is administered in the month of January. Candidates who qualify in the written exam has to next appear in a PRPI round. The final merit list for SID will be prepared by considering the performance of the candidate in the SEED 2026 written exam, personal interaction, and PRPI and Portfolio review.

There are currently 180 seats available for the B.Des programme for Indian nationals. There are also 27 supernumerary seats earmarked for international students. 

The Symbiosis Institute of Design (SID) offers four major disciplines at SID in the following areas.

The candidate will have to select their programme of study at the time of filling out the SEED 2026 application form. Admission to the above courses will be conducted on the basis of merit rank of the candidate in SID.

Note that the merit rank will be prepared considering the performance of the candidate in the SEED 2026 written exam, Personal interaction, and Portfolio and PRPI Task review.
