Symbiosis provides a variety of design courses. The students will learn how to build on fundamental knowledge and abilities that enable effective use of a sketchbook, study methods for recording techniques, develop eye perception, become competent in setting projects, and exhibit critical, contemporary, and historical awareness about the fields of design.

To pursue design training, students must have creative skills and be able to cope with situations which are expected of them by the profession. Candidates passed 10+3 Diploma approved by State Board of Technical Education with minimum 50%. And also 50% in academics of 10th and graduation required 50% to pass out from the university is mandatory.

Passed Standard XII (10+2) or equivalent examination from any recognised Board

or 10+3 Diploma approved by State Board of Technical Education with a minimum

of 50% marks or equivalent grade (45% marks or equivalent grade for Scheduled

Caste / Scheduled Tribes).

And qualify Symbiosis entrance test and get cutoff marks

Yes B.Des in fashion communication is offered at the Symbiosis institute of design (SID).  The program is a full-time four-year undergraduate degree course. The course covers specializations in branding, styling, and visual merchandising.
In addition to the fashion communication there are other 10 specialisations offered by SID.
