You always have to trade-off between the things and set up your priorities. If you are up for operations management then SIOM is your place.

MCA and MBA cannot be compared as they are very two different courses providing two different lines of careers. But an MBA degree will always be useful if you are already strong in your technical abilities and MBA degree would help you to earn a higher position in companies.

And of course, there is a lot of scope for freshers provided they work on their professional and managerial skills in these 2-years of MBA.

As you have two years of experience in logistics and two years of gap, at first, the main aim should be getting as much higher rank and percentile in entrance tests as possible. After that, preparing for interviews in whichever college you have applied. You have a good chance to get into SIOM if you want to with your experience in logistics.

Wait list 16 can be converted but category wait list will have a slight chance. If got converted you won't have any disadvantages being a fresher. Lot of companies do visit campus solely dedicated for freshers.
