The SET answer key contains, candidate's response as well as correct answer to every question. This can help them in calculating how much marks they will score out of the total marks. They can use that information to see how much percentile they may score, even before the SET result has been declared. There is no cutoff for the SET entrance exam. However, cut-offs are declared only for the admission round day as to who can attend it. Rest all the students who have SET scores below the declared cutoff have the option to either attend the admission round or directly apply for the waiting list.

About cut-off

The cut-off is the minimum mark that a candidate needs to score to get a call for counseling from the college. Basically, it is set to make the process of selecting students more refined for the limited number of seats offered by the university and its affiliated colleges. Or we can say that the cutoff is the minimum mark required to

No, Symbiosis International (Deemed University) does not hold a centralized counseling process for BBA Admissions through SET. The role of Symbiosis University is to only conduct the SET exam and prepare the results. The role in BBA process is only sharing the result/scorecard of candidates with the BBA participating institutes that they have selected in the SET application form. The participating institutes prepare their own merit list and select candidates for admission basis the result shared by Symbiosis University. The minimum eligibility criteria for shortlisting is passing marks in SET. However, the selection is based on cut-off

Each participating institute released its own SET cutoff. The SET cutoff determined if the candidate will be eligible to appear for the SET selection process which includes Written Ability Test, Group Discussion and Personal Interviews. The following are the various factors that determined the SET cutoff:

  1. Marking scheme of the exam
  2. The difficult level of the exam
  3. Number of students appearing for the exam
  4. Seats offered by the participating institutes
  5. Previous years' cutoff trends
  6. Reservation policy of institutes
  7. The lowest and average marks scored by the candidates in the exam.

Candidates must take care of saving their answers at every step as the moment 60 minutes will get over, the screen will automatically end the test. The SET exam is conducted in the afternoon shift, I. e. from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM. Also, there is no provision for changing the exam slot. Candidates must make sure that they rea
