Symbiosis International University's SET- Symbiosis Entrance Test (Undergraduate Degree Programmes)

Candidates need to meet the eligibility requirements and apply for the course of their choice. Admission to BTech is based on SITEEE or JEE Main or any other State Engineering Entrance Exam score. For admission to MTech, aspirants need to qualify GATE or SIT Pune Entrance Exam. SIT Pune offers B.Tech. programs in seven different disciplines. The B.Tech programme requires at least 45% marks in 10+2 (PCM/PCB). For admission to the B.Tech. program, applicants must have taken the National/State Level Entrance Test, namely JEE Main, or have obtained at least the minimum cut-off scores in the Symbiosis Entrance Test (SET).  Lateral entry into the B.Tech. programme is open for candidates with a Diploma in engineering

No, the SET exam cannot be given remotely. Every year the SET exam is conducted in the computer-based test mode. In 2021, the exam was however conducted in the internet-based test mode because of the coronavirus pandemic. Ever since, the SET exam has always been conducted in the computer-based test mode (CBT). To take the exam, candidates have to visit the SET exam centre and take the exam online. They can choose upto three preferred SET test cities during the SET exam registration. Candidates must reach the test centre at least an hour before the commencement of the exam in order to avoid any hassle on the exam and complete the frisking formalities at the exam GATE smoothly.
