Symbiosis School of Planning Architecture and Design (SSPAD) is a part of Symbiosis International (Deemed University). The college has obtained re-accreditation from NAAC with an A+ grade. It provides two courses in planning, architecture, and design: B.Arch and BDes, both with different durations - five years for B.Arch and four years for BDes. The B.Arch course is aligned with the guidelines of the Council of Architecture, which is the legal statutory body in India. Admission to both programs is through entrance exams. The total per annum fees for both BArch and BDes programme ranges between INR 3.20 Lacs and INR 2.75 lakh. The aforementioned amount includes multiple items such as academic fees, security deposit, etc. As per the information available on the official website, the SSPAD fees could increase by, upto 10% during the programme. The admission criteria for both courses is entrance based. For admission to BArch, candidates need to appear for NATA and for BDes, valid scores in SEED entrance exam is required.

Admission to the BDes course is done based on marks secured by the candidate in the Symbiosis Entrance Exam for Design (SEED) which is going to be held on Jan 12, 2025. To register for the same, the candidates have to fill out the online application form and pay the application fee of INR 3250 and then appear for the entrance exam on the scheduled date. The results of the entrance exam will be published on the SSPAD website. According to the scores, it will be decided if the candidate is eligible to appear for the SSPAD's portfolio review and personal interaction round. The final shortlisting for admission will be based on the performance of the candidates in rge SEED scores, portfolia review, PRPI and personal interation and the specialisation selected by the candidate.
