Candidates first need to fill out the application form. Aspirants who have qualified CAT/ MAT/ XAT/ CMAT/ SNAP and completed Class 12 can apply for SUAS admission. The university shortlisted candidates for BTech and MBA based on entrance exam score. For other courses, merit in the last qualifying exam is considered for SUAS admission. The university conducts selection rounds like group discussion and personal interview for final admission.

Symbiosis University of Applied Sciences is a self-financed university established by the Government of Madhya Pradesh Gazette, No 2 of 2016 dated 13 June 2016, under the provisions of MP Niji Vishwavidyalaya Adhiniyam 2007. The University has collaborated with industries in India and a German university of applied sciences.

- Appear for an entrance exam such as CAT, MAT, XAT, CMAT, SNAP, or MAH CET.
- Have a minimum of 45% marks in Standard XII (10+2) or equivalent examination from any recognised Board.
- Be shortlisted through a merit list.
- Participate in the further admission process (GE-PIWAT) of the programme they applied to.
For the MBA course, candidates must also appear for a state/national level entrance exam such as CAT/XAT/MAT/ATMA.
