The pay mainly depends on the kind of business school you graduate from. Tier-1 colleges like the IIMs see students get placed with offers hovering around Rs 10-15 lakh an year.
Those who work as financial analysts start off with a minimum package of Rs 4 lakh an year. Credit analysts start at Rs 5-6 lakh per annum and earn as much as Rs 20-30 lakh per annum once they reach senior level positions.
Management consultants too start at Rs 5-8 lakh and within a few years earn as much as Rs 10-15 lakh per annum.

Tally and SAP are the software which started as accounting software. Tally has been introduced by the Peutronics Pvt. Ltd. (currently known as Tally Solutions Pvt. Ltd). SAP software is owned by SAP, which is a Germany based company. Tally and SAP offer numerous products. However, they are primarily differentiated on the basis of ERP packages offered by them. Tally is a very basic type of ERP software, whereas SAP provides some advanced functionalities as an ERP package.
