KCT is a well-known Institute for its BTech placements. As per the previous year's record, it has been seen that college has provided better placements to the BTech students. In 2025, college has provided 84% placement with median package of INR 4.5LPA. In 2024, KCT provided 89% placement with median package of INR 5LPA. It has Amazon, Morgan, and PwC as top recruiting partners.

Yes, students can get direct admission at KCT, Coimbatore for BTech courses. Direct admissions are provided by management quota and student needs to be eligible for that. As per the eligibility criteria, students from other states can apply through management quotas. However, the fees can be high as comparison to government quota.

KCT, Coimbatore provides 69 seats for BTech Biotechnology students. These are divided into management quotas and government quotas. If you are a Tamil Nadu student you will get a seat through government quota, and if you are from other states, the seat will be allotted through management quota. Students need to follow the respective admission procedure to get a seat.

There are total 129 seats available at KCT, Coimbatore for BTech Information Technology. The seats are divided in management quota and goverment quota. Students who are from Tamil Nadu can apply for BTech in IT from government quota.

I had the same question before choosing my course. What I realized is that Agricultural Engineering isn't just about farming it's about using technology to solve real agricultural problems. If the college offers practical learning, field visits, and decent placement support, it's definitely worth considering. In Kanyakumari, Rohini College is one of the colleges that students often look into for this program.
