In case all the above conditions are MET and the TANCET result is still not accessible, candidates must contact the TANCET secretary via email to tanceeta@gmail. Com.

Candidates can take a print of the TANCET result page. However, the result printout, or the soft copy of the same is not required during the further admission process. Candidates need to take a print of the TANCET scorecard. Scorecard is released for download soon after the results are declared on the official website, TANCET. Annauniv. Edu. The TANCET scorecard hosts the percentile score, which helps in allotment of the TANCET rank.

The normalisation of marks is done based on the standard deviation, mean marks and raw score. However, TANCET score for MBA and MCA courses are not normalised as the questions in TANCET exam remains the same for all the candidates. Additionally, the MBA and MCA exam are conducted in single shifts. Scores for the Engineering exam, CEETA PG, will be normalised using a predefined formulae. Although CEETA PG is also conducted in single shift, the question variation in the stream specific section can lead to change of the difficulty standards in the exam.

Directorate of Technical Education, Chennai, only considers TANCET percentile score. TANCET actual score is calculated by allotting 1 mark each for the correct response and deducting 1/3 mark for each incorrect response. Similarly, if 98% of the test takers had secured an actual score less than 59, Mohan
