When will the TANCET 2019 form be available for Anna University?

Anna University will release TANCET 2019 application form in the first week of April 2019. Applicants will have to fill the application form and pay the fee online. Application fee is Rs 500 for unreserved category while it is Rs 250 for SC/SCA/ST candidates.

Graduation with 50%.
Admission is through counselling based on the rank / score obtained in Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test (TANCET).

The percentage required for OC students varies from year to year based on the range of scores obtained by all students in TANCET exam. Last year, it was 90%.

Is TSM better than PSGIM in summer internships and placement record? Can I apply for PGDM in both the colleges through TANCET?

Both TSM and PSGIM ranks more or less equal in aspects of Summer Internships. To take a decision, many factors like location choice, exposure, choice of domain etc. But as far as PSGIM is concerned, you cannot apply for PGDM through TANCET. PSGIM takes MAT CAT and ATMA in to consideration. Apart from that SSLC, HSC, UG, Group discussion and PI score will also be considered.

TANCET's cut-off mark for MBA in PSGIM was 30-34 approximately. Mostly, the availability of seats will depend on the TANCET ranking.

The cut-off required to get MBA admission in PSGIM varies from year to year and based on the reservation. It is advisable to have cut-off greater than 65 to get admission in PSGIM.

Post declaration of TANCET Result, Anna University will publish merit list of shortlisted candidates for TANCET Counselling. The merit list is prepared on the basis of TANCET cut off for all the courses separately. Interested candidates will have to secure TANCET Cutoff to be eligible for admission process.
