Dear aspirant, Glad to meet you. Yes, you can apply. Candidates should pass class 12th at least with 50% marks in aggregate in order to be eligible for admission to D.Ed. The basic Eligibility criteria for the Diploma course are that the candidate should have passed 12th with any stream/ graduation/post graduation from a recognised institution. A student is eligible for admission in D.Ed programme if he/she fulfills the requirement of minimum marks having weightage of 50%. Hello buddy, To become a math teacher once you complete your 12th standard (with Science stream including mathematics) you can opt for B.Sc. Mathematics and then to B.Ed. And you will eligible to teach children of primary class, if you also do a M.Sc. And then B.Ed then you will be eligible to teach children of secondary and higher secondary (I. e. 5 to 10 standard). But, if you want to become a professor then you can go for Ph.D. after your M.Sc. And you don't require any B.Ed. I hope this answer would be helpful.
