TTC course is a worldwide recognised course that provides complete knowledge and skills required to become a teacher. D. El. Ed : Diploma in Elementary Education has replaced the old TTC/DEd courses. The last date for application is 23 November. This two year full time Diploma course trains teachers for primary level and makes them eligible for securing jobs at the LP/UP classes in the government and aided schools. The candidates have to pass plus two with at least 50% marks, within three chances. In case the candidate had attended the SAY exam, it would be considered as an additional chance. Meanwhile, backward communities require 45% marks. There are no marks and chance restrictions for scheduled castes/tribes. The lower age limit for the applicants is 17 years and the upper age limit is 33 years as on July 1, 2021. Meanwhile, it is 36 and 38 respectively for the backward/scheduled communities.
