No, you can not apply. The eligibility criteria of M.P.Ed is given below. Educational qualifications: Pass with 50% aggregate marks in B.P.Ed or B.Sc in Health and Physical Education or equivalent.

Hello,
To become eligible for the post of Assistant Professor, firstly you have to qualify the exam like UGC NET. The UGC NET Exam is conducted by the National Testing Agency to select the serving candidates for lectureship (Assistant Professor) or awarding Junior Research Fellowship. The minimum eligibility criteria to become eligible for UGC NET Exam is having a complete Masters degree with 55% aggregate marks. As you got 74% in your master's degree, you meet the required eligibility criteria for the exam.
