UGC NET exam is conducted in 81 subjects by national testing agency NTA for assistant professor and junior research fellowship in national institutes. There are two papers conducted, paper 1 is common for all the subjects and consists of questions related to the mental ability and reasoning & teaching aptitude. On the other hand, paper 2 consists of questions related to your post-graduation or its related subjects. You must have deep knowledge of the History subjects to qualify the paper 2. The important topics of UGC NET History subjects are :
Stone age
Indus Valley Civilisation
Vedic Age
Maurya Period
Gupta Period
Harsha Period

Please check your eligibility by following this link https://www.shiksha.com/b-ed-chp for general category 50%is mandatory. Otherwise, you can pursue Master and score more than 50%, then you will be eligible for the same.
