Be clear with the fundamental knowledge. Have a brief idea of your PG Coursework. Start your preparation early. Download the latest syllabus. Dedicate separate 1 month to prepare for UGC NET general paper. Make sure to refer quality UGC NET Study material for both paper 1 and paper 2. Make a list of important topics and topics which are easy to cover. Those topics should be the priority. Be in a habit of making short notes or diagrams. Solve a variety of questions to strengthen the concepts. Solving UGC NET mock test and practice previous year question papers. Analyze yourself and work on the weak areas. Keep clearing your doubts

English literature has a vast syllabus so candidates must go for the selective & smart study. Priority should be the easy and important topics and thereafter the rest. Do PG course work first. Check the syllabus well. Other than that, UGC NET Paper 1 is scoring than Paper 2 so aspirants must focus on it well. Go for that standard and quality UGC NET Study Material for the preparation of UGC NET. Make short notes of every chapter. Now solve questions given in the book. Appear for full length mock test and work on your weak areas. Further there are previous year question papers to be solved.
