Hello, To become a lecturer in college or institutes you have to clear the UGC NET Exam. B.Ed is for teachers level. The UGC NET Exam is for selecting the candidates for the post of Assistant Professor and for awarding Junior Research Fellowship. The National Testing Agency conducts this exam for all the postgraduates who wants to pursue their career in research and teaching fields. If you want to become a lecturer, then following is the required criteria that must be fulfilled. You must have secured at least 55% aggregate marks in postgraduation to appear in UGC NET Exam. Usually as a minimum; 2 years of teaching experience, a Masters degree in Educational Admin (or related field), and a district who is willing to take a risk on you. That being said, all the requirements go out he window if a relative is the Superintendent and he/she can convince the board you are ready for the position. Thank you.
