For Ph.D, you need to clear UGC NET. As soon as you clear it, you will be deemed eligible to do Ph.D.

Eligibility for B.Ed Admission:-A candidate has to pass in the graduate degree examination under the 10+2+3 or 11+1+3 pattern with main subject in Part III, namely Tamil (B.A., B.Lit.), English, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Botany, Zoology, Computer Science, Applied Physics, Applied Chemistry, Bio-chemistry, Environmental Science, Micro-Biology, History and Geography.In the case of Economics, Commerce and Home Science subjects, only PG qualification will be considered.Candidates having cross major subjects in PG Degree are not eligible.Candidate having a direct UG, Degree (without +2 qualification), candidates having a direct PG

You can apply for UGC NET sociology if you have got minimum 55% aggregate marks in post-graduation.

Hello Praveen,
The UGC NET Exam is conducted for the determination of the candidates for assistant professor posts in university and for junior research fellowship award in research. It is a national level exam for which you must have the deep knowledge of the subject. You can find the previous year papers at the official website of NTA. This year NTA is going to conduct the NET exam from 9 to 23 December 2018. There are various websites which provide the sample question papers and mock tests. Yes, they are over in most of the colleges. The registration for giving B.Ed entrance starts from the month of August and in September you will have the entrance.

Yes, you can teach in schools by giving CTET entrance exam, provided that you have some degree or Diploma in education field. Then only you can apply. If you don't have B.Ed degree or any Diploma in education then do it in order to teach in a good government school with a good salary.
