I've done B.Sc in CS & a PG Diploma in software engineering (specialisation in Java), am I eligible for NET? If not, what should I do?

UGC NET for Sciences and other subjects demands a Post-Graduation and an OG Diploma, which is not equivalent to Post Graduation / M.Tech or M.Sc. Degree is not accepted. You should pursue a PG Degree like M.Tech or M.Sc. And then apply for NET-UGC Test.

The counselling dates have not been announced yet. The result will be declared on July 19 and thereafter counselling dates will be announced.

The merit list is already out. Now you need to appear for counselling, which will be conducted on July 19 and 20.
