It also ranked in the top in terms of cost of accommodation, catering and social facilities at the university. Teesside’s careers service was ranked the highest in the UK and second globally. Thus, it makes it one of the international student-friendly universities in the UK.

Teesside University is one of the few universities in the UK that has been awarded the nationally recognised Customer First accreditation for its services to business. The university also has a rich cultural diversity as it welcomes over 1,800 international students from all over the world. Teesside University has performed well on the International Student Barometer on various parameters such as accommodation, campus environment, campus buildings, etc.

As per the Guardian University Guide 2021, Teesside University ranked joint #68 out of 121 institutions. By the Complete University Guide - University Ranking (UK) 2021, it was ranked #95. Teesside University had a rank in the 801-1000 range on the Times Higher Education World University Ranking 2022, and in the 301-350 range on Times Higher Education Young University Rankings 2023.
