TSEC Mumbai has received rankings by many ranking bodies, including Times, etc. During 2024, it was ranked #42in the Times 2024 'BE/BTech' category. Observing the past three years Times BE ranking trend, the institute was ranked continuously at #42.

Thadomal Engineering College is located in Mumbai and is affiliated to University of Mumbai. They also provide various PhD programmes and UG courses like Computer Science, Electronics and Telecommunications, Chemical, IT and AI and Data Science. Their NIRF ranking for 2021 have been in the range of 201-250. The improvement can be seen as the college have been providing different societies and extra curricular activities such as fests, sports, etc. 

Thadomal Shahani Engineering College is recognised as one of the premier engineering institutions in India, achieving varying positions in different rankings. In the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) 2020, it secured a ranking within the band of 201-250. Furthermore, it attained the 70th position in the Education World India Private Higher Education Rankings 2020 and was ranked 10th among colleges in Maharashtra according to The Week rankings in 2019.
