No, it is a public-private college, and no seats are reserved in any category. It is available to all students. You just need to meet the minimal qualifying requirements for the course for which you apply. Admission is purely taken on the basis of JEE-Main percentile.

If a student fails internal examinations at LNMIIT, he or she can apply for makeup exams if there is a real cause; otherwise, the sole alternative is to repeat the course or improve if the grade is D. If a student misses an internal exam, they may repeat it if their leave letter is approved by the professor. A student might lose some credit points from their final grade if they fail any of the topics on their mid-semester exams.

If a student skips internal tests, he or she is more likely to fail internal exams conducted by LNMIIT. Because your final grade is determined by your assignment, attendence, midterm examinations, quizes and end-of-term exams. If you fail in any of the course, you have to repeat it next semster.

Admission percentile is an important factor in securing admission to a college or university. Most colleges and universities in India admit students based on their performance in entrance exams such as JEE, NEET CAT etc. The higher the admission percentile, the better the chances of securing admission to a good college or university.
