Both UT Austin & University of Chicago Law School are among the top 20 law schools in the United States, ranking #17 & #5 respectively.
Thus, it comes as no surprise, securing admissions at either, is not a cakewalk. UT Austin Law school's acceptance rate of 15.6% is marginally better than Chicago Law school's: 12.7%, making it relatively easier to secure admissions at.

The University of Chicago is better than the University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign. As per the unofficial source, the University of Chicago ranks at #11 among national universities, whereas the UIUC stands at #33 position.
