Both UT Austin & University of Chicago Law School are among the top 20 law schools in the United States, ranking #17 & #5 respectively.
Thus, it comes as no surprise, securing admissions at either, is not a cakewalk. UT Austin Law school's acceptance rate of 15.6% is marginally better than Chicago Law school's: 12.7%, making it relatively easier to secure admissions at.

As per the unofficial source, the University of Chicago ranks at #11 among national universities, whereas the UIUC stands at #33 position.
