Applicants must pay the University of Texas at Austin application fee as per the programme they are applying to. The application fees for undergraduate and postgraduate programs are different. Applicants must finish the entire application process, submit all the documents required for admission, and pay the application fees before submitting the application. This application fee is non-refundable. The following are the application fees for UG, PG, and MBA:

  • UG: USD 90 (INR 7.9 K)
  • PG: USD 90 (INR 7.9 K)
  • MBA: USD 200 (INR 17.5 K)

Register via university application portal
Student can choose program of choice
Verify eligibility and English requirements and
submit important documents such as academic records, 2-3 LORs, SOP, CV, standardized test scorecards such as ACT, SAT, GMAT or GRE according to program chosen and employment history as required.
Complete form by filling out additional information as required
Pay application fee and submit application.

The UT Austin has an acceptance rate of around 29%. This means out of 100 students, around 29 students get accepted. Applicants must make sure to meet all the basic eligibility criteria as per their program and must submit all the mandatory admission-related documents before the application deadlines to increase their chances of acceptance.

Yes, the University of Texas at Austin requires ACT and SAT scores for admission of undergraduate students from Fall 2025. The university stopped requiring the standardized test scores momentarily due to the pandemic, but starting the Fall 2025 semester, applicants will again need to submit their standardized test scores as a mandatory admission requirement. The university also considers other factors such as academic requirements and proof of English Language proficiency. Submission of admission-related documents is also mandatory as part of the application process.

According to unofficial sources, acceptance rate of this university is 29% which shows that admission process is bit hard and university is bit strict while admitting students. Students must make sure to meet academic requirements and English language requirements according to basic eligibility criteria and submit documents necessary for admission process.
