Financial opportunities are available for international students studying at the University of Texas at Dallas. Note that all freshman admitted to UT Dallas are automatically considered for UT Dallas Academic Excellence Scholarship. Also, the Naveen Jindal School of Management awards some merit-based scholarships to graduate students in the Spring and Fall semesters.

The application requirements for an international student applying at graduate courses of UT Dallas require the completion of application, payment of application fee, submission of English language proficiency proof, GRE or GMAT score, submission of academic transcripts like diplomas and / or degree certificates, college / university transcripts and letters of recommendation. The application process at undergraduate level requires you to submit your admission application, submission of SAT or ACT scores (if available), payment of application fee, and submission of official transcripts.

The University of Texas at Dallas is known to be a prestigious research institution and the rankings prove its worth among the universities in the world. According to the Times Higher Education (THE) World University Rankings, UT Dallas ranks at #351-400 position in 2024. In 2023 too, the university was placed at #351-400 position. As per U.S. News & World Report, UT Dallas ranks at #349 position globally in 2023. In the QS World University Rankings 2024, UT Dallas ranks at #520 position.

Yes, the University of Texas at Dallas is a tier-one research institution which fosters the advancement of cutting-edge research discoveries and technology. It has also earned a classification as a Carnegie R1 doctoral institution of the highest research activity, a designation that is largely based on the aggregate quantity of an institution’s research. UT Dallas announced this achievement in 2016.

Dallas, Texas has so much to offer to international students from good universities to study to good food and rich culture. Dallas is home to more than 1.3 million people. Also, Dallas is not that expensive as other cities in the U.S., food is 21% cheaper than San Francisco.

To apply for a graduate programme at UT Dallas, the applicants must have earned at least the equivalent of a 4-year Bachelor degree after the completion of the 12th grade of secondary or high school from an institute that is recognised by the particular country’s ministry of education. The applicants who have 3-year undergraduate degrees shall be considered for admission into master’s programme based on holistic review. An overall grade point average of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale or better is expected.
