Hi Karthik,
The scope is good and can be found in research, core science as well as engineering. You should aim for a Ph.D in this field for better opportunities. Germany is a good place for research.

Hello Yasha,
The procedure is different from other programs. You must definitely take GRE and TOEFL. In addition, you must check which university has or offers research work in your area. You must write to the department supervisor and share your research interest and proposal, you can apply if they like your research proposal. Communicating with them is important here.
