Thiagarajar College of Engineering (TCE) in Madurai, Tamil Nadu has a management quota that allots 50% of seats. The minimum cut-off for the management quota is 190.

the minimum cut-off for computer engineering in some colleges: 

Eligibility: To be eligible for a BTech in Computer Science Engineering (CSE), candidates must have passed Class 12 from an accredited board with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as their core courses. They must also have a minimum cumulative score of 60% in these subjects.

Its is completely based on the people mind set . One will be good and if he give a good feedback about it then they think its good nothing more than it and in my opinion campus is good for B.Tech but choose which group u wanna join

To enter Thiagarajar College of Engineering (TCE) in Madurai, Tamil Nadu, you need to score at least 45% in aggregate in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics in Class XII. The minimum qualifying marks for reserved category students is 40%.
