Yes, SPMV is good university for B.Tech but not much better for B.Tech If you are from Tirupati and don'te want to go out side from the tirupati then you definitely take your admission in this university.
SPMV BTech admission is based on AP EAMCET/ Andhra Pradesh EAPCET exam scores. SPMV offers BTech programme in 4 specializations, namely, Computer Science Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering. The programme is offered by School of Engineering, SPMV. Total fee for the programme is INR 2.27 Lacs including all the semesters.

At IISER Tirupati Bsc is the to most course. This is a 5 year course and for qualifying this internal exam of IISER the IISER Entrance exam needs to be given.
