Candidates appearing for the TISSNET mock test must follow the prescribed instructions:
TISSNET will consist of 100 questions of one mark each. There will be no negative marking for TISSNET. Candidates will have 100 minutes (one hour 40 minutes) to solve the questions
The question paper will consist of three sections viz. , General Awareness, Mathematics and Logical Reasoning, and English Proficiency. Candidates can attempt the question in any order of preference. There is no sectional limitation. Candidates can review and change their answers before the TISSNET time duration is up. Post which the answers will be submitted automatically

TISSNET is held in a non-adaptive and online (CBT) mode. It comprises 100 MCQ type questions and 3 main sections, which are General Awareness, Mathematics and Logical Reasoning, and English Proficiency. The total duration of the exam is 1hour 40 minutes.

Candidates applying online for TISSNET 2024 exam will be asked to choose between two modes of payment - Cash or Payment Gateway (debit card/credit card/ net banking) in the online application form. If the preferred mode of payment is cash, candidates must note that a payment challan has to be downloaded from the 'Download Challan' tab. The payment challan will have three copies. Candidates must now deposit the cash amount mentioned on the challan in any branch of the State Bank Of India (SBI). The bank will return the two copies of the challan (Student Copy and TISS Copy) along with the bank's seal, signature, and journal number on it.

Only candidates having lack access to internet services (remote areas) can write to TISS Mumbai campus for the printed application form. Such candidates must fill the TISSNET application form and submit it before the prescribed last date of submission.
