As per the TISSNET 2023 analysis, TISSNET English Proficiency section consisted of 30 questions similar to last year. This section was dominated by Fill in the Blanks questions. There were no questions from Analogy, Onw Word Substitution and Idioms. The questions were easy from two Para jumbles. Tjis section also consisted of two reading comprehensions which were a mix of factual and inferential questions. The questions were easy to attempt hence, candidates must have got most of questions answered correct. 20-22 marks in this section was a good score. As per the TISSNET 2023 analysis, Mathematics and Logical Reasoning section consisted of total 30 questions. Among the 30 questions, 21 questions were from Reasoning and Quants and nine from Data Interpretation. This section was a sitter and a student who was prepared well could easily solve the questions in this section. Further, the Data Interpretation section consisted of three Sets with three questions in each. The Logical Reasoning consisted of two questions on Directions. As per the TISSNET 2023 analysis, this section is undoubtedly the toughest section of the question paper. The question paper consisted of 15 questions from Current Affairs. Candidates were able to answer 10-12 questions easily. Whereas, the static GK section was a mixture of sitters ad some tough questions. TISSNET 2023 analysis is as follows:
1. TISSNET 2023 was similar to last year's question paper
2. The Logical Reasoning and Quantitative Ability section had a total of 30 questions with 22 from Quant, six from Data Interpretation, and two from Logical Reasoning, This section was the easiest and easy to attempt for the candidate who was well prepared.
3. The General Awareness section was of moderate difficulty level. There was an equal distribution of questions between Current Affairs and Static GK.
4. The questions in English Proficiency & Language Skills section were of easy to moderate level barring a few from the Fill in the Blanks.

TISS releases the TISSNET cutoff along with the declaration of results online. Candidates can check the TISSNET cutoff for the programmes they have applied for. TISSNET 2023 result along with the cutoff was released on March 23, 2023 at admissions. Tiss. Edu. Yes, the Tata Institute of Social Sciences releases a separate cutoff for the General Awareness section of TISSNET exam. Only candidates who meet the TISSNET exam cutoff and General Awareness cutoff are shortlisted for the Online Assessment rounds- Extempore and Online Personal Interview . Sectional cut-off for General Awareness (GA) is applied for qualifying the TISSNET. Tata Institute of Social Sciences releases the TISSNET cutoff on the basis of the following factors:
1. Number of candidates appearing in TISSNET exam
2. Number of seats available for a specific programme at a campus
3. Number of candidates meeting qualifying cut off
4. Category of the candidates
TISSNET cutoff is released along with the declaration of results. Candidates can check the cutoff of the programmes they have applied for. TISSNET cutoff is also revised based on the objections received by the candidates on the answer key. If the number of questions are deleted and the answers are revised, the cutoff is also revised.

Candidates will not have to pay any fee for challenging the TISSNET provisional answer key. TISS Mumbai released the TISSNET 2023 provisional answer key on March 03, 2023. Candidates who appeared for the exam could challenge the TISSNET provisional answer key till March 08, 2023. Candidates challenging the answer key could challenge one response per candidate.
