This is the first I have ever heard of geo tourism. Sounds like an interesting concept. I would think that a Bachelor in geology would be good preparation for a job in that area. You would need to be able to clearly understand the geology, so you would need a good set of background courses (sedimentology, stratigraphy, mineralogy, structural and historical geology). And you would have to understand it well enough to be able to explain it to non-geologists and answer questions. It does sound like a fun and rewarding way to make a living.

Tourism is kind of a activity that people do, like travelling from one place to another for business purposes or going on a vacation etc. There are a lot of career opportunities in this field, you can make a lot of money by providing services to tourists like giving them accommodation, providing food services etc. You can make your career out of this field by working with a good hotel chain, applying to work on a cruise liner, becoming a Chef or a Manager at a good hotel. There are endless opportunities at this field.

B.Voc in tourism and hospitality is better because India is evergreen tourism country and the job opportunities are high compared to other industries tourism is one of the best ones put there lot of demand to but u need have good memorisation skills before joining B. V. O. c in tourism and hospitality management.
