Hi, Christ is one prestigious university in Bangalore providing quality education for a very long time, it is always suggested to get degree from an recognised institute. Christ is best for each and every course it provides. Christ offers good rate of placements for its students. Almost all top tourism companies would come for campus recruitment such as Orange County, Thomas cook, Kuoni SOTC, SABRE, etc. Starting package would be around 3.5 LPA and the top package can go up to 7 LPA. A very small percent of students get into internship via college authorities.

Illustrating writing skills and expertise on a personal blog is the best way to gain credibility and get recognised. Post high-quality entries twice each week for about six months to show dedication and then pitching to editors.

The career as a travel journalist is full of adventure and fun. But unfortunately there is no specific course for travel journalism in India. You can study Journalism at UG/PG level and look for jobs in travel sector or journals as a writer or a photographer, whichever interests you. You can apply for jobs in travel magazines and travel websites, once you are a graduate. You can also take up internships in travel sector to have maximum exposure.
