Yes, Institute of Hotel Management (IHM), Shimla is infact better than AIHM Institute of Tourism and Hotel Management, Shimla. The IHM is run by the government, and government recognised certifications are more valued in India. The education and curriculum are similar for both the IHM and AIHM. But the fee structure for the IHM is less compared to that of AIHM. There is a drastic difference between the two. This is because government institutions offer courses at lower fees and private institutions at higher amounts. The placements for IHM are also good. It has a 100% placement rate in 2023. Yes, UG Diploma at the Institute of Hotel Management (IHM), Shimla is better than AIHM Institute of Tourism and Hotel Management, Shimla. This is because the IHM is run by the government of India, whereas the AIHM is a private Institution. The government issued certificates have more value in India than that of the private institutions. The government institutions also have lower fees compared to the private institutions.
