ICFAI University Tripura offers a variety of courses in the UG and PG levels. The admission process for some of the courses are merit-based while a few courses makes it mandatory for the candidates to appear for an admission test  conducted by ICFAI University. Candidates do not need to appear for any other national level entrance exams to register for admission at ICFAI University Tripura.

Tripura Institute of Technology is a government institution under the Department of Higher Education, Government of Tripura. It is recognised by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and affiliated with Tripura University, a central University. But there is no specific recognition by the UGC for TIT's courses. The UGC approval is typically required to grant degrees which TIT don't have.

TIUT Tripura can be considered as worth pursuing for the students willing to pursue management courses. However, individual preferences may vary depending on career goals, preferences, and accommodation. The Institute offers an MBA with a decent placement record. The MBA programme is offered through the School of Commerce and Management. Furthermore, the school organizes seminars, workshops, and guest lectures featuring industry professionals, entrepreneurs, and thought leaders. 

TIUT Tripura BTech admission process is based on merit scores. The candidates must have passed Class 12 with 55% aggregate marks in the Science stream from a recognised board. Candidates can apply online on the official website for the desired course with the required documents. Meeting the minimum eligibility criteria is mandatory for the students. BTech is provided in Computer Science and Engineering, Biotechnology, and AI and Machine Learning. 

Techno India University Tripura accepts scores of GMAT/ CAT/ JEMAT/ MAT entrance exams for admission to the MBA programme. However, admission to all the other UG and PG courses is completely merit-based.

TIUT Tripura is considered to be moderately priced. The cost of studying at the university may depend on individual preferences, accommodation, career goals and lifestyle. The NEET score of 567 and All India Rank (AIR) of 119,231, which is very unlikely to get an MBBS seat at Agartala Government Medical College (AGMC) under the All India Quota (AIQ). Traditionally, AIQ cutoffs for general category candidates at AGMC are higher. In previous years, for example, the AIQ cutoff for the general category used to be somewhere between 21,742.

Still, as an ST candidate, you would have a higher chance under the state quota. In the 2024 Tripura state counseling, the ST candidates had a lower cutoff.
