The cutoff trend has been increasing for the General Category AI quota for B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering. In 2025, the qualifying cutoff for B.Tech CSE is 66967, and in the previous year, 2024, it was dropped to 60238. In 2023, the cutoff was 54906.

However, there was not much of a change visible for the SC category All India quota, as in 2023, the cutoff was 214481. In 2024, 246601 was the cutoff, and in 2025, it changed slightly to 245043, jumping 1,558 ranks up. This pattern showcases that B.Tech CSE is gradually getting more competitive over the years, irrespective of categories.

Techno India University Tripura primarily admits students based on merit or its own selection process. While CUET scores may be considered for some programs, it's best to check the university's admission notification. Apply through their official website and upload your CUET scorecard if required.

In Jharkhand, institutes under Ranchi University and Kolhan University have been expanding their B.Voc offerings in technical fields, sometimes including automobile technology. It is advisable to check sector skill councils and local universities' official vocational programme lists. Alternatively, private universities and Polytechnic institut
