With a TS LAWCET 2024 rank of 7,502, securing a tuition-free seat in a law college in Telangana may be challenging, as previous years' cutoff ranks for free seats in top colleges have been significantly lower. For instance, Osmania University College of Law had a closing rank of 23 for male candidates, and Padala Rama Reddi Law College had a closing rank of 3,626 for male candidates. 

However, cutoff ranks can vary annually based on factors such as the number of applicants, seat availability, and reservation policies. It's advisable to participate in the TS LAWCET counselling process, as some colleges may offer seats to higher-ranked candidates, especially in later counselling rounds. Additionally, exploring private law colleges or management quota seats could be an alternative, though these options may involve higher fees.

Based on previous years' data, admission to the B.A. LL.B program at the University College of Law, Osmania University, typically requires a TS LAWCET rank within the top 50 for general category candidates. For instance, in 2023, the closing rank for open category male candidates was 28, and for females, it was 40. 

Students preparing for the TSLAWCET entrance exam need to know its pattern including 120 multiple-choice questions that split into General Knowledge and Mental Ability (30 questions) Current Affairs (30 questions) and Aptitude for the Study of Law (60 questions). The examination duration is set at 90 minutes. Devote your attention to learning history and geography together with economics and political content. Although you can apply for the Telangana State Law Common Entrance Test (TS LAWCET) without a caste certificate you must submit one if you are a member of the BC-E (Backward Classes) category and want to receive reservation advantages. Your admission and seat assignment may be impacted by the caste certificate which is necessary to demonstrate your eligibility for the BC-E category reservation. You will fall under the general category and will not be eligible for the reservation benefits if you do not have the certificate. Before submitting your application make sure you have all the required paperwork including the caste certificate to prevent any problems during the admissions process.
