UCEED 2026 seat-acceptance fee for GEN/EWS/OBC-NCL candidates is INR 60,000. SC, ST, and PwD candidates only need to pay INR 15,000. The fee will have to be paid within the schedule notified by IIT Bombay. If the candidate fails to make the payment within the given deadline, then the allotment will be cancelled. Also, the seat vacated in such cases will be allocated to the candidate next in the order of merit.

No, you cannot participate if you have not been given a merit rank in the UCEED 2026.

Counseling process for UCEED 2026 will be conducted as a Joint Seat Allotment process. To participate in the counseling, the candidate must have qualified for the UCEED 2026 and assigned a merit rank in the UCEED exam. If the candidate doesn't have a merit rank, he or she is not eligible to participate the counseling-cum-seat allotment process.
