Yes, to sit in the Joint Counselling Process conducted by IIT Bombay, you must fill the B.Des Application. It is a common application form for admission to the BDes programme at IIT Bombay, IIT Delhi, IIT Guwahati, IIT Hyderabad, IIT Indore, IIT Roorkee and IIITDM Jabalpur.

Eligibility criteria to participate in UCEED counselling are given below.
Candidate must be born on or after October 1, 2001.
Candidate must have qualified in UCEED 2026 exam.
Candidate must have passed all five subjects in 10+ 2 or an equivalent exam in 2025 or 2026. Candidates appearing in the qualifying exam for the first time in 2024 or earlier are NOT eligible.

To register for the UCEED 2026 Counselling, candidates need to fill the B.Des Application for Counselling. There is a common application form for all the IITs. The application portal will be active from March 14, 2026 (Saturday) till April 10, 2026 (Friday), 5:30 PM.

UCEED Rank list is the rank given by IIT Bombay to all the candidates who have been shortlisted. It is prepared based on the total marks (Part-A marks and Part-B marks combined).

Yes, you need to qualify UCEED Part A to be included in the UCEED Merit List.
UCEED Part B question paper is not evaluated unless the candidate qualifies Part A. Further, only such candidates who have qualified Part A are shortlisted and are allocated a merit rank. In case of candidates who have failed to qualify Part A of UCEED, they are not issued any merit rank. Their scorecard merely includes Part A scores. In case of candidates who are shortlisted and are issued a merit rank, they can participate in UCEED and seat allotment.

For students belonging to the SC category under the AI quota, the UCEED last round closing rank was 31 for IIT Indore B.Des admission. Please note that the cutoff ranks vary for different rounds. The round-wise UCEED 2025 closing ranks for IIT Indore are tabulated below for the SC category.

The IIT Roorkee UCEED cutoff 2025 was released for different categories of students belonging to the All India quota. The institute accepts the UCEED entrance exam, followed by counselling rounds for B.Des admission.
