UCEED 2026 counseling will be conducted by IIT Bombay. The counseling process will have five rounds.

The Joint Admission Process will not have any spot rounds.

However, IITDM Jabalpur may conduct a spot round of admissions at the institutional level if there are any vacant seats after completion of the counselling.

No, Institute of Design, Nirma University admission to BDes courses is entrance-based. The college slected applicants based on UCEED entrance exam score. To get admission, candidates are required to have a good score in UCEED entrance exam. Further, candidates are required to fulfil the eligibility criteria and apply online on the official website. The final seat allotment is based on the UCEED score, followed by PI round.

Once the UCEED 2026 counseling process is over, the candidate is not allowed to shift from one institute to another. The candidate will have to select their preferred institute at the time of counseling registration.

IIT Bombay will conduct UCEED 2026 counseling registration in March 2026. Candidates who have been allotted a merit rank can apply.

If a qualifying Examination Board awards only letter grades without providing information on the passing grade on the grade sheet, the candidate should obtain a certificate from the Board specifying the passing grade and upload it along with the grade sheet. In case such a certificate is not provided, the decision taken by the UCI Committee will be final.

If you are appearing in the qualifying examination (Class XII or equivalent) in 2026 you must ensure the following:

  • (a) all parts of their final examination are completed by the date of application for admission, and
  • (b) submit proof of having passed the qualifying examination with required eligibility by September 30, 2026 to the admitting institute.

No, candidates from m Commerce, Arts or Humanities at 10+2 are not eligible to apply for BDes admissions at IIITDM Jabalpur. 

For admission to BDes at IIITDM Jabalpur, the candidate must have passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics/Biology. The candidate is urged to carefully go through the detailed UCEED 2025 eligibility criteria before applying for admission.

IIT Bombay will not release any hard copies of the UCEED 2026 scorecard. The scorecard will be available in online mode only.

It will be released in the form of a downloadable pdf; you can download it from the official admission portal - uceed.iitb.ac.in.

The last date to download the scorecard is July 31, 2026.

Yes, the scorecard will contain the qualifying status of the candidate. Note that all candidates who have qualified in the exam will be issued common merit ranks (All India Rank). 

The scorecard will be issued to all candidates who have appeared in the UCEED 2026 exam. However, merit ranks will be released only for shortlisted candidates.

Yes, there is partial marking in UCEED 2025 exam for MSQ and MCQ based questions. 

For instance, for MSQ questions, If all the four options are correct but ONLY three options are chosen and NONE of the incorrect options is chosen, the candidate will be awarded 3 marks (out of 4). Meanwhile, if only (all) the correct option(s) is(are) chosen and NONE of the incorrect options is chosen, the candidate will be allocated the full 4 marks.
