No, the UGAT application form is the same for all categories. Students need to choose their respective categories while filling the registration form. Candidates must note that when they are applying for UGAT exam, the first step in the UGAT application process is registration. AIMA will conduct UGAT 2026 in the paper-based test mode. Applicants who wish to take the UGAT exam need to select their preferred examination city while filling out the UGAT 2026 application form. The details of the UGAT test centre will be mentioned on the UGAT admit card along with the date and time of the exam. Students applying for the UGAT exam can choose any of the following test centres:

There is a set limit to upload a photograph and digital signatures in the UGAT registration form. The size of the file should be between the prescribed size. Also, the dimensions of the image uploaded should match the ones mentioned in the instructions. If the documents are not in accordance with the prescribed format then the application form can be rejected. Candidates must note that there is a very small form correction window in the UGAT application process, hence they must carefully fill the application form and upload clear scanned copies of the documents.

Yes, students who have completely filled the UGAT application form and paid the application fee before the due date can make corrections in the UGAT application form. However, there is a limit to the number of corrections that can be made. 

Candidates should carefully go through the UGAT application form before submission. In case, they wish to edit the form after submission, they can contact the authorities or visit the AIMA centre in New Delhi at the following address:

Yes, the UGAT application fee can be paid online as well as offline. Paying the application fee is important to complete the UGAT application process. Candidates who opt to pay the application fee online can do so through a credit card, debit card, banking wallets or internet banking. 

Candidates who opt for paying the UGAT application fee offline, have to fill the UGAT application form offline too. They can pay the fee through cash or a demand draft. Students paying the fee through a DD have to address the DD to 'All India Management Association' payable at New Delhi.

The UGAT application forms are available online as well as offline. Candidates can apply for the UGAT exam online on the official website of AIMA as well as offline by downloading the UGAT registration form. Check below to know how to apply for UGAT offline: 

  1. Candidates can download the AIMA UGAT application form from the institutes websites listed with AIMA or from AIMA head office located at the Lodhi Road, New Delhi.
  2. Candidates need to pay a fee of INR 750 through cash or DD to AIMA. The DD should be drawn in the favor of 'All India Management Association' payable at New Delhi.

The students who wish to appear for the UGAT exam, have to fill out the UGAT application form online along with paying the online application fee. In other words, UGAT application process is completely online and there is no provision of offline application. Yes, students who are in Class 12 or are awaiting for their Class 12 results can certainly apply for the UGAT exam. The basic eligibility crtieria for appearing for the UGAT exam is as follows:

  • Candidate must have secured at least 50% aggregate at Class 12 level
  • There is no age bar. Candidates of any age can appear for the exam.
  • Applicants in Class 12 or awaiting the results are also eligible to apply provisionally.
