Yes, Indian students can defer their entry at the University of Auckland before the programme starts by following the below steps:
- Log in to your Application Study Dashboard
- Click the defer application link next to the active programme choice
- Select the preferred future academic term
- Delete any course enrollments manually if you already enrolled before the semester starts

Indian students can expect an admission decision within 4 weeks of submitting a completed application to Uni Auckland. During peaks processing periods (Sep to Feb for Semester One, and, May to Jul for Semester Two), it may take longer.
