The Berkeley Undergraduate Scholarship at UC Berkeley is one of the most historic scholarship that has recognised the academic merit of undergraduate students. The eligibility criteria for this scholarship programme are given as follows:

  • The eligible students must have an overall GPA of 4.1 in their high school 
  • The students must be entering from a community college with an overall GPA of 3.5 out of 4.0 

The amount of scholarships is offered based on the students' financial needs and requirements. The students with financial needs can also be awarded with a University Grant.

According to Pepperdine University the minimum GPA required from students is 3.68-3.89. But UC Berkely wants students to have a minimum 3.0 GPA, now comparing both the universities its a little the easiest to get into UC Berkely than Pepperdine University.

UC Berkeley's admission review process takes two weeks to 1 month. However most of the applicants receive call within 6-8 weeks. The comprehensive evaluation consider academics, GPA, extracurricular activities and many more are essential for the university. Srudents should anticipate this timeframe . The students are notified via e-mail and the approximate time of the decision is said to be one month after the application submission.
