To get into UCR, the applicants need the following things:

Undergraduate Students

  • High School GPA
  • English language proficiency tests
  • High school coursework: Students must earn a grade of C or better in all college preparatory courses
  • Social security number (if applicants have one)
  • Citizenship status
  • Credit card (or check)
  • Statewide student id (optional)

While the Graduate Council of the University of California, Riverside campus has temporarily waived off the GRE requirements for 2024-25 application cycles, some of the programs may still need the GRE score. It is advised to check the individual graduate requirements to know about the GRE requirements. Some of the programs for which GRE General exams are accepted include MBA, MFin, MPAc, MS in Business Analytics, or PhD programs.
