In the 2026 QS World University Rankings, the University of East London is ranked #1001. The University of East London's global university ranking has somewhat dropped this year when compared to previous QS rankings.
The university ranking dropped by 100 spots to #901 earlier in 2025 and 2024.
In 2025 and 2024, the University of East London was ranked #409 and #406 in Europe. The University of East London's overall rankings saw a sharp drop.

The UEL mandates GPA of 3 along with submission of ACT or SAT scores during admissions. The minimum ACT score required is 23 or above and SAT score must be more than 1070 but students must aim to score much higher than the given limits to be considered at the time of application review.
