The University of Essex admission requirements for international students vary by application type for international students. Applicants must have an average of 60% from the best four subjects from Indian high school qualifications for most of the undergraduate Bachelor degree courses at the university. Those who have achieved 70% in English from CBSE or CISCE exam board qualification will not require a separate English language test score for Essex undergraduate admission. For Postgraduate Taught Masters courses at Essex, students must achieve 50% or 5.3/10 from Band 1 or Band 2 institutions/ 55% or 5.8/10 from all other institutions
