The University of Essex welcomes students from 140+ countries. India is also one of the countries from where the students are welcomes here. The admission requirements for Indian applicants are-

  • UG- The students should have passed High School with an average of 60% in the best 4 subjects. In English subject, 70% is required and if this is not the case, then students can submit IELTS or equivalent test scores
  •  PG- Indian students are required to have a Bachelor's degree with either 50% or 55% (vary as per courses).

Yes, the University of Essex UK permits international students to work while studying. However, there are certain requirements that international students at Essex University must fulfil that are listed below:

Hours:

  • Students on a Tier 4 or student visa are permitted to work up to 20 hours per week during the academic year.
  • Under degree students are permitted to work up to ten hours per week during the academic year.
