The Official announcement of the CAT exam date is made by the convening IIM. The announcement will be made at the iimcat.ac.in website as well as in all the national dailies across India. We at Shiksha also notify the aspirants through our communication channels. Registrations cum application process for CAT usually happens between August - September.

In Lucknow University, the Open category gets admission in Forensic Science with rank between 1 to 25 usually and the reserved one go down till 86th rank. At 106 marks it is a little difficult to get a rank under the set bracket of required rank. But the cutoff varies every year and you can definitely take a chance. Lucknow University admissions are done on entrance-basis. The basic eligibility requires the candidates to pass Class 12 or its equivalent exam with a minimum aggregate of 45%. Hence, you can certainly apply for the BTech course even if you have scored less than 60% in your Class 12 boards.
