According to unofficial website, the University of Massachusetts, Dartmouth acceptance rate is about 92% over the years. This shows the university is lenient when it comes to admission and candidates generally get selected as long as they meet the admission requirements and submit all the mandatory documents required for admission. The minimum eligibility criteria include meeting the academic requirements as well as English language requirements. Amherst & UMass are part of the best institutes in Amherst, Massachusetts.

As far as rankings are concerned, University of Massachusetts, Amherst with a rank of #41 comfortably beats Amherst College (#245) as per Shiksha country-level rankings.
